By using robustvertex.pro you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Most of what is on this page is common sense — it is written down so that everyone has the same version of it.
2. The site itself
Everything published on this site is provided for informational purposes. We try to keep it accurate, but content describing our services, principles, or approach is not a contractual offer. Nothing here is legal, financial, or engineering advice for your specific situation; for that you would need an engagement, in writing.
We may change the content of the site, add to it, or remove parts of it at any time and without notice.
3. Intellectual property
The Robust Vertex name, the vertex mark, the copy on these pages, and the visual design of the site are ours. You may quote from the site for review, journalism, or analysis with attribution. Anything beyond that — copying the site, mirroring it, using the name or mark for your own business — requires written permission.
Source code published in any public Robust Vertex repository is licensed under the terms stated in that repository. Where no license is stated, none is granted.
4. Newsletter
Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of any issue, or by emailing us. We will never sell or rent the subscriber list. We may pause, change the cadence of, or end the newsletter at our discretion.
5. Contact form
Messages sent through the contact form arrive in our internal inbox. Sending a message does not create a consulting relationship or impose any duty on us to respond, although in practice we almost always do. Please do not send confidential, regulated, or sensitive information through the form — wait until we have agreed a secure channel.
6. Engagements are separate
Paid work is governed by a signed Master Services Agreement and a statement of work for the specific engagement. Those documents describe scope, pricing, deliverables, warranties, liability, confidentiality, data handling, IP ownership, and termination. Where those documents and this page differ, those documents apply to the work and this page applies to the website.
7. No warranty for the site
The site is provided "as is". We make no warranty that it will be available, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. We do our best to keep it up and accurate, and we will fix things promptly when we are told about them.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Robust Vertex is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this site. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of use of this site is limited to one hundred dollars (USD 100). Limits for paid engagements are set in the engagement contract, not here.
9. Linked sites
Where this site links to a third-party site, that link is for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or behaviour.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top. For material changes that affect newsletter subscribers or active prospective clients, we will send a short note before the change takes effect.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Robust Vertex is registered. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by talking it through will be heard in the courts of that jurisdiction.
